The Gensopedia, still being updated without pause by a legion of dedicated contributors, especially with Darko (Runes) and Wolfheart (Bios) is now starting to expand even further with the complete script for the first three chapters of Suikoden Tactics now up and ready to view. Tactics was chosen as it is the easiest game to script, due to its strict chapter by chapter formula. Read and enjoy and feel free to use the script for fact checking purposes. |

Suikoden V Morning Moment (幻想水滸伝V 夜明けの刻) has been released today in Japan. Another in the increasingly enormous series of Suikoden V Anthology manga, the price is 998 Yen after tax. |

The chefs of the Black Dragon Clan are being revamped on the Gensopedia! There’s a lot of surprising information beyond the usual “challenged Hai Yo and gave him a recipe” norm we’re all familiar with. Go check some of them out! Also, Runes, an admitted weak spot on the Gensopedia is starting to get the care it probably deserves! Darko has joined the Gensopedia staff and is already getting stuck in, helping to flesh out that particular area of the series, so a big thanks goes out to him! |

Just in case you didn’t trust Due Fiumi behind the two bigger sites, it has been confirmed that the latest V-Jump does NOT contain any Suikoden VI rumours as reported and picked up upon by the likes of NeoGAF and Suikosource. I am sure the people who perputrated this myth will not be silenced by this but hopefully our more intelligent members will dismiss what they have to say regarding such things in future. |

As Sophita and I play through Suikoden II again, several articles concerning the Dunan Unification War and battles during said war have been added to the Gensopedia which makes for a pretty detailed look over Suikoden II as a whole. Our dedicated staff and even our regular forum members are dedicated to sniffing out and correcting errors where ever they may be and, also, the forums got an upgrade, which is always nice. |

Today, the Gensopedia hit 1,400 entries. Cool, no? Go read them all, now. Not much other news going on at the moment in the Suikoden world, I’m afraid. Might be some contests coming up here soon, I’m sure you’d like that, eh? We’ll see how it goes, no promises though. |

For now the answer is ‘no’. For a rumour that was originally sourced from 2ch, essentially the national board of Japan at this point, no-one in the Japanese gaming scene has heard of this rumour. As I mentioned on the podcast, it may very well be announced as such in the future, but even if so, there is no connection with the rumour as presented and reported around the English speaking sites as of late. In minor news, the Due Fiumi podcast can now be listened to via iTunes. Just head to the Podcast page and click on the little iTunes button there. We also have an XML feed which should be added to the Gensopedia and the main site soon. In other news, I’ve been hammering out some minor quirks in the site that went unnoticed, the Rumours Guide isn’t working perfectly yet for example. The Gensopedia continues to be continually worked on, befitting its nature. Check out the wonderful Suikogaiden summaries being worked on by Sophita! It’s been years since we’ve had a viable summary of the game and its plot. We may be adding, or readding a feature soon. It shall be decidedly nutty, it seems. |
